Deep Learning Applications

This course will review the basic concepts of deep learning convolutional neural networks (CNNs), emphasizing application development. Students will be exposed to decent technologies and open-source tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Jupyter Notebook, and Jetson Nano. Students will be able to design a deep learning project and complete all processes from data collection, model training, and model deployment upon completing hands-on labs and projects. It is anticipated that this course will help students enhance their thesis/dissertation research and participate in funded projects.
