Disclaimer
Discussions regarding race and ethnicity are often difficult, and we commend you for courageously enrolling in this course. To foster robust discussions and deeper understanding, we will practice respect and tolerance, thus creating a safe space to freely share ideas, questions, and research concepts. At the beginning of the course, the class, as a whole, will develop and agree upon a social contract that will guide class discussions and maintain a safe environment for all students as they develop into culturally sensitive future physicians.Â
