Description
The course focuses on applications of analytical biochemistry in clinical and laboratory settings. Students will be introduced to current methods used in the study of cells including instrumental analysis, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopic, chromatographic, and immunochemical methods. Current methods in molecular biology will include research studies using CRISPR, PCR, and more. Students will also interpret analytical data and evaluate error and uncertainty in measurements.
