Intro to OT in Health Care Delivery

Basic tenets of occupational therapy are introduced. Topics include history and philosophy of the profession, theories/frames of reference, and professional behavior, terminology, and documents. The role of the occupational therapist in the context of various service delivery systems will be explored, with emphasis on the U.S. healthcare system.
