Overview
Description
Introduction to the physics of sound (i.e. acoustics) and the relationship to physiological response (i.e. psychoacoustics) in normal and compromised hearing. Course provides a basic overview of acoustics (e.g. frequency, magnitude, phase) including speech and music and psychophysics of sound (e.g. pitch, loudness) including masking.
