Practicum II: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

This second clinical role support course will continue to provide the theoretical basis for advanced assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and collaborative management of specific health problems in the neonatal health care setting as a neonatal nurse practitioner. Focus of care on the neonates will be related to the cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal/nutrition, renal/genitourinary, and hematologic systems as well as emergency situations that arise in the neonate.
