Experimental Methods in Materials Scienc

An introduction to the variety of equipment used to evaluate the structure and properties of materials and tissue response to biomaterials. SEM techniques, EDS, EBSD & WDS, mechanical testing equipment, thermal analysis equipment, light microscopy, histological specimen preparation, and aqueous corrosion measurement will be covered. The course will include one lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week.
