Medical Physiology

This core course is designed to facilitate the first-year student's understanding of integrative physiological functions of the cells, tissues, and organ systems of the human body in health and disease. Upon successful completion of the Medical Physiology course, students will demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills in understanding the fundamental mechanisms of human physiology needed for the practice of modern medicine.
