Infectious Diseases

Diagnosis and therapy of a variety of infectious disease entities will be reviewed in detail with the student, who will be assigned to the infectious disease service of the University of Mississippi Medical Center or the VA Medical Center. The student will evaluate and follow consultation patients. The student will round daily with the service and attend and participate in weekly clinics and conferences at the VA Medical Center or UMMC.
