Focus on Advanced Nursing Practice Specialization (Neonatal)

This didactic course provides an in-depth examination of human genetics, embryologic development and normal physiologic functioning of developing body systems. The structural and functional development of fetal systems during critical growth periods is emphasized, and environmental factors that influence the structural and functional development of fetal systems are discussed. This course will build a foundation essential for the assessment, planning and evaluation of the health of neonatal clients.
