Basic Life Support / Medical Emergencies

This course is designed to teach the student to perform 1 and 2 person rescuer Adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), 1 and 2 person rescuer Infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and to render first aid to choking victims. The course is also designed to teach the student the established protocol for common medical emergencies in the dental setting.
