Surgery Resident Prep Course

This is a course that is designed to provide students with the practical information and skills needed to prepare for the intern year as a surgical resident. Students will participate in hands-on simulation, such as suturing, laparoscopic skills and other clinical skills; on call phone scenarios; and didactic lectures and workshops. This course is an M4 elective and only offered in the month of March. The maximum number of students is 12. Preference will be given to students who applied for general surgery or a surgical subspecialty.
