OT: Psychiatric/Psychosocial

Introduces mental disorders as well as the medical, psychological and sociological factors that influence general health. Examines psychiatric and psychosocial principles within occupational therapy practice, including relevant theories/frames of reference and evaluation/intervention methods. Individual and population service delivery (e.g., consultation, care coordination, transition processes and resource utilization) is emphasized.
