Pediatric Allergy/Immunology

This third-year elective introduces common allergic disorders, including allergy rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, and evaluation for possible immune deficiency. Emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of the diagnosis and management of the allergic disorders, physical exam skills, and lab testing for common immune defects in the outpatient setting.
