Pathology, Clinical

An elective designed to introduce the student to the practice of Clinical Pathology through participation in activities of each section including Chemistry, Transfusion Medicine (Blood Bank), Microbiology, and Hematology. The student will develop a working knowledge of how the laboratory functions in providing laboratory results, and the interpretation of results in clinical practice.
