This course provides students with an introduction to quality improvement in healthcare. Students will be introduced to the philosophy, knowledge and skills of continuous improvement, teamwork, and interdisciplinary work, and how to apply thee to improve patient- centered health care quality. This course facilitates a seamless transition for the student into the course ID630 Healthcare Quality Improvement. This online course is delivered utilizing asynchronous distance learning modalities.
