Global trends for health promotion and disease prevention are examined in this didactic and clinical course in the accelerated program. Students analyze health care policy issues and paradigmatic cases of ethical dilemmas in global health. Students examine current legal statutes and health policy affecting healthcare delivery to populations. Emphasis is on collaboration with others to advocate for improvement in the health of vulnerable populations and elimination of health disparities. (Theory/Clinical)
