Fundamentals of Ceramics

This graduate level course provides advanced information on ceramic compositions, processing methods, material properties, and applications. The topics will mirror those already covered in BMS 701, but they will be covered in greater depth and with emphasis on practical examples, commercially available products, and quantitative prediction of material properties. Prerequisite: BMS 701 A/B or consent of instructor.
