Advanced Neonatal Nursing III

This didactic course will provide a thorough understanding of the pathophysiology and management of common disease processes in the neonate (preterm and term infants). This course will focus on the endocrine and metabolic, immune, neurobehavioral, musculoskeletal, eyes/ears/nose/throat and dermatologic systems. Furthermore, this course will include discharge planning and follow-up care for the high-risk neonate.
