Family Medicine Inpatient Service

During this four-week subinternship, the student work with a team of family medicine residents and faculty. The student evaluates patients in the emergency room, admits patients for continuing care, and assumes primary responsibility for hospital care of patients to include coordination of care and consultation, as appropriate.
