Nuclear Physics & Radiobiology

Presents qualitative and quantitative concepts of radiation physics and radiobiology pertaining to medical applications in nuclear medicine; atomic and nuclear structure, radioactive decay, radiation properties; and photon interactions in matter. Additionally, the course examines physical, chemical, and biological mechanisms involved in radiation to living cells and their components.
