Transforming Advanced Nursing Practice

This course is designed to be the introductory course for the DNP student and will introduce the DNP from a historical perspective then address the three domains of advanced nursing practice, leadership and scholarship. This course will focus on influencing practice patterns for populations, communities and health care systems, articulating the leadership role of the DNP and embracing practice inquiry as fundamental.
