Intro to GIS

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and applications of geographic information systems. Special emphasis is given in the areas of healthcare and epidemiology. This course combines an overview of the general principles of GIS and analytical use of spatial information technology applicable for health professionals. This is the first course of a series of geospatial information technology at UMMC.
