Junior Pediatrics

During this core clerkship, third-year students work as clerks on inpatient services of the Children's Hospital and in ambulatory settings. Ward rounds, conferences, and lectures are regularly scheduled. Emphasis is placed on developing the skill of each student in history-taking and the physical examination of infants and children, particularly those with disorders that are most commonly seen in this age group.
