Simulation of Physiological Mechanisms

Introduction to the mathematical analysis of physiological phenomena. Topics include ordinary differential equations, numerical methods for solving differential equations, elements of digital computer programming in high-level languages, and the use of simulation packages and appropriate demonstrations. Students are required to develop a mathematical model and present it to departmental faculty.
