Computers in Medicine (Basic)

This senior course will provide students an opportunity to develop basic microcomputer literacy. The students will use microcomputers in the Division of Learning Resources Computer Training Laboratory and spend one day per week with medical center departments that use computers for financial, administrative, clinical, or teaching purposes. Prior to signing up for the elective, students must submit a statement outlining their previous computer experience. (3 students each block. Not available during June, July, and August.)
