Clinical Vocabu & Classification Systems

Addresses standardized clinical terminology, medical vocabulary standards, data mapping and natural language processing. Course covers classifications used for statistical reporting, as well as terminologies required for interoperability standards. Online discussion and submission of assignments occurs weekly, with onsite class meetings at the beginning and end of the term.
