Chemical Dependency

The senior student spends four weeks assigned to the Chemical Dependency Unit at the Veteran?s Administration Medical Center. During this block the student will gain experience and skills in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of substance-related problems. Exposure to multiple modalities in the treatment of chemical dependency is provided under close faculty supervision. (1 student each month. Available all months.)
