Extramural Rotation in Hospital Dentistr

This extramural rotation provides four weeks of hands-on training in both the hospital and ambulatory patient care environments with experience in providing dental care to patients with serious systemic illness. Emphasis is placed on diagnosis, pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care, and medical risk assessment. This elective is available by special arrangement to third or fourth year dental students in good standing from an American Dental Association accredited school.
