Medicine Consult Service Elective

This two-week elective provides the fourth-year student an opportunity to be part of the medical consult team. The assessment of surgical risk, common medical problems, and unusual medical complications are reviewed on daily rounds. A practical approach to patient management in consultation will be provided, with many opportunities for personal study in General Internal Medicine.
