Dermatology

The student will become familiar with the scope of dermatology and the integration of dermatology with other medical and surgical specialties. The student will gain exposure to pediatric, general, and surgical dermatology. The emphasis is on ambulatory components of the specialty and aims to help students gain a basic understanding of the diagnosis and management of common dermatologic problems. As part of the rotation, students will be expected to submit two short written case reports and attend any conferences offered.
