Description

This course will develop a framework that students will build upon as they embark on their study of medical sciences. During the course of the year, students are expected to develop the ability to critically analyze scientific data and place it in the context of pre-existing knowledge. Students will also be introduced to the best practices associated with interacting with patients in a professional manner. Lectures, small group discussions and directed patient/student interactions will be used.
