Primary Sports Medicine

The Primary Care Sports Medicine elective provides a unique experience for interested senior medical students. Students are given the opportunity to work one on one with the UMMC Sports Medicine faculty and athletic trainers. Students will attend various primary care orthopedic clinics, training room, and selected sporting events. The student will also attend a weekly sports medicine lecture and injury conference that allows the student to interact with the Sports Medicine staff.
