Description
During this critical care rotation, fourth-year students participate in the work-up and care of veterans whose illnesses include routine pulmonary disease and critical care conditions. Students are introduced to pulmonary function testing, fiber optic bronchoscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, including invasive monitoring, and the support & management of patients requiring critical care interventions.
